Please note that this option is for joining on Zoom only. Sharpen your technique, improve your musical ear and be inspired with fresh movements and combos so you can showcase your own signature style in your performance, whether its to pre-recorded drum solo music or with a drummer. We will cover topics including (but not limited to): -Isolations, locks and ladders -Layering and shimmies -Exciting elements to make your dance memorable -Combinations to typical rhythms and phrases that feature in drum solos to give you variety and range -Showcasing your personality and engaging the audience -Drum solo improvisation tips and exercises This course is suitable for improver, intermediate and advanced level dancers, although no specific experience with drum solo is necessary. Corrections offered in and out of class, plus homework exercises with feedback (optional)
